What We Do!
Helping Hands is an essential part of helping families cope with the lose of a loved one in there time of need.
Helping hands serves the funeral receptions help in the hall after funerals at St. Anthony's Parish. The Helping Hands team is in charge of helping set up the hall before the reception, serving food, cleaning up, and being the personal and loving link between the Saint Anthony's family and a family in need. Mourning the lost of a loved one is one of the hardest things that someone can ever have to do, the helping hands ministers get to be caring and loving messengers for the parish who help make the funeral reception process run smoothly. As a minister of Helping Hands you have an amazing opportunity to not only serve the parish, but to follow Jesus call to serve those in time of mourning. We need your help.
When do we meet!
Funerals at the parish happen during the weekdays only. Helping hand ministers are called in advance one the parish has set up a funeral date and time. After the Parish sets a funeral time, a member of the parish or the head of the helping hands ministry will contact you with dates and times to see if you can attend.
