At St. Vincent de Paul at St. Anthony’s, our mission is rooted in the call to follow Christ through service to those in need. We are committed to alleviating suffering, overcoming deprivation and affirming the inherent dignity of every person. Whether through food, shelter, emotional support, or other vital services, we offer compassionate, individualized assistance to help our most vulnerable neighbors regain stability and hope.
When those situations arise, we are there! Our neighbors may be experiencing a lost job, in need of food, rent assistance, medicine, clothing, utility assistance, or transportation . . . .WE ARE THERE.
We are always in need of donations of non-perishable food for our pantries. There are baskets in the back of the church for your convenience. We are only looking for essential staples to give to our neighbors in need: canned meat, canned ravioli/spaghetti, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, and cereal. Thank you for always check expiration dates before donating.
We have heard our volunteers say that there is no greater joy than helping a family stay in their home, have a warm bed, and not go to sleep hungry. You too might enjoy this experience. Would you like to know how to help? If so, please call Gerri or Marilyn at (415) 883-1015 and they will show the “HOW” to you.
