The St. Anthony of Padua parish family extends our love and sympathy to you and your family. We are here to walk with you through this over-whelming time. As the Church embraces us in baptism and throughout life, it also supports and holds us in dying and death. Your departed loved one is a gift from God who knew the Lord in faith, but now sees God face-to-face in Heaven. The Scriptures tells us that death separates us temporarily; one day you will be reunited in the dwelling place prepared by Jesus. This is our rock solid faith. When a Catholic dies we celebrate a set of Funeral Rites which helps us in our grieving and loss. These prayers bring comfort and expresses our love. The Church’s rituals profess deep faith, and leads us to pray for the one who died.
