Ministers of Communion for the Sick and Homebound take the body of Christ to those unable to attend Mass. We represent the church community and visit them at their homes, hospitals and care facilities. Many are lonely and miss the fellowship of church. We listen, we care, and we pray with them and for them. Ministers are available during the week after Mass and after Sunday Mass.
When does this ministry happen?
We can partake in this ministry any day of the week. Ministers of Communion for the homebound show up to mass the day that they are serving to collect the Eucharist and then bring it to the person in need. The Mass times and opportunities are posted below. Training will be provided!
