First Communion Preparation
We are honored to walk in faith with your child and family on this special journey. The Sacraments are not individual awards. Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation are Sacraments of Initiation into and celebration of the whole church along with the family and the child. The Sacraments are the primary means to build up the Catholic community and to experience true intentional discipleship.
In an effort to continue emphasizing the Sunday Mass as source and summit of our Catholic faith, our program will comprise of Gospel weeklies as well as Pflaum's Together in Jesus sacramental preparation. Over the span of two years, students will get to know Jesus, his Truth, his Revelation, and the way in which we respond in faith, love, and service to His call. Sacramental prep begins in 1st grade when students prepare for their Reconciliation and culminates in 2nd grade with their reception of the Eucharist.
Classes are concurrent with our Whole Family Catechesis program - that is, families may choose from classes on Sundays from 10:10am to 11:10am. Registration forms are found below:
