This years Lifeteen Theme is Welcome Home! We want Lifeteen to be a family, St. Anthony’s to be a second home. This is a place where you are welcome, wanted, and cared for, so Welcome Home. Welcome to the Family, we are excited about the events for this year. Below you will notice a Lifeteen calendar that will be updated, links to our social media accounts, and information on Lifeteen and the type of events we do.

Lifeteen is our high school ministry and youth program for students in 9th-12th grade. Lifeteen is an amazing opportunity to have fun, grow in faith, and created friendships and family that last a lifetime. In the Lifeteen program you are free to come as you are, to be yourself, to learn, to grow, to make mistakes, and to find a relationship with Jesus and the Church. We are super excited about this year and the plans the Lord has for all of us. We are super excited to see you. Welcome Home!

Lifeteen events

All Lifeteen Nights consist of Games, discussions and prayer, but nights will Vary based on topic, event, or type of night.

Here at Lifeteen, we offer 3 Types of Nights!

  1. Faith Nights: Faith nights consist of teaching the Catholic Faith in a fun and interactive ways. These may involve Bible study, praise and worship, adoration, or talking about different faith topics. Nights such as Why is Mass Important, or Called to be a Saint, are some examples of nights that may be done as faith nights. These are amazing opportunities to grow  in relationship with the Lord.
  2. Issue Nights: Life is crazy,  this world we live in is broken, hurting, and in need of Love. In school you are swamped with class, sports, family, friends, trying to fit in, have fun, and still get enough sleep to get by. Anxiety, Fomo(Fear of missing out), gossip, social media, dating, fitting in, all of these things cross your mind on a regular basis. We want to talk about it, we want to walk these paths of life with you. Issue nights are fun nights built around talking about the chaos of this world, or about the things going on in your life.
  3. Social nights: Social nights are all about joy. We are a church of joy and we want to enjoy one another. Social nights will consist of video game nights, or bonfires at the parish, we will watch movies, and play games. These nights are all about enjoying one another's friendship. These are a great night to come relax, have a good time, and create friendships that last forever.

Big Events

Lifeteen will also go to big events. Things like the Walk for life, Concerts with Paul J Kim, A catholic speakers and music artist, hikes, trips to the city, retreats, and many other big events offered throughout the year.

EDGE Middle School Ministry

Monday Night at 7 PM

                Say_ministries       Say_ministries

The Edge theme this year is “Don’t Say I am Too Young”, The Church history is full of young people who have changed the course of History. From St. Jose Sanchez Del Rio who at 13 fought the Mexican Government to legalize Catholicism in Mexico, To Maria Goretti who became a Saint at 11. The Church is full of youth who said yes to the Lord. We are no different, The Lord wants to make you a Saint today, he wants to play a role in your Life today. Edge is the perfect place to make this happen.

Edge is our Middle school youth group. This program is open to all 6th-8th graders and is a great opportunity to make friends, have fun, and grow in your faith in interactive ways. Edge is an amazing way to hear faith topics you want, play fun games, and also meet people your age who want to grow the way you do. Edge is the perfect place for you to be. We are excited about the year that we have planned. Edge Meets Monday from 7:00-8:30pm. More information about Edge Nights is below!

Edge Nights!

Edge offers an endless variety of fun, exciting events and themes. All Nights will consist of a combination of games, small group time, skits  and prayer! The type of nights are below!

  • Faith: Faith Night's much like Lifeteen are made to grow. These are nights where we discuss faith topics, where we pray together, when we learn to have a friendship with Jesus. These are the nights that are interactive, and will involve bible study, talks, making videos, and cool activities to grow in our faith.
  • Social: Social Nights are an amazing night to just come enjoy the friendship. We will play games, or watch movies. We will play sports, look to go bowling. These nights are a great way to just have fun and wind down after a busy monday.
  • Issue: Life is crazy, let's talk about it. Issue nights is all about what is going on in your life. With School, Sports, Friends, and family, as well as what we see on the news, social media, and hear from our friends, we need a place to talk about what's going on. Issue Nights is all about discussing the craziness of your life and helping you walk through life with more joy, peace, and Love.

Rummage Sale Thank You Dinner 2019

Thank you Rummage Sale Volunteers!

The Rummage Sale Thank You dinner was enjoyed by our many volunteers who helped out this year.  We had a record-setting 94 attend!

The Rummage Sale is a time of friendship.  We have parishioners that have moved out of the parish - and even out of the state - who come back for the month of July exclusively for helping out St. Anthony of Padua.  But our friendship is now felt around the world.  The destinations of some of our donations were:

  • 19 bags of shoes purchased and shipped to help those in need in Uganda
  • $200 worth of shoes were purchased and mailed to the Philippines
  • 4 plastic tubes of stuffed animals were purchased the first night and then donated to Catholic Charities earmarked for Africa.

Thank you everyone!
